The United Brain Tumour Campaign (UBTC) works with member charities and fellow brain tumour charities to
raise public awareness and increase funding to:
• Ensure consistent Professional care offering a multi-disciplinary and dedicated team approach,
consistently at every treatment centre
• Produce Information which is consistent, up to date, jargon-free and distributed as appropriate to patients,
carers, professional staff, research teams, voluntary organisations and other interested parties
• Provide readily available Support for patients and carers to cover all of their needs: emotional, physical
and financial
• Facilitate Education for GPs and other professionals to ensure earlier diagnosis and speed of referral
Specifically the UBTC raises funds to establish dedicated brain tumour research centres across the UK in order
to:
• Further Research into discovering the causes, advancing treatments and finding a cure
